The Study

To attract and retain the best talent into our profession, and to ensure all structural engineers have a clear pathway to success in their careers.

Objective

The project began in 2015 when SEAONC (Structural Engineers Association of Northern California) funded a committee to study engagement and equity in the structural engineering profession. In 2016, this group administered their first national survey of over 2,100 structural engineering professionals.
